14AAA DC SUPER HERO SLAM
The Westside Sluggers 14AAA team had a strong showing in their first AAA tournament, the 14UAAA DC Super Hero Slam. Finishing as runner-up with a solid 3-1 record, the team put in a great effort and gained valuable experience.
KC Sports Easter 1-Day
The WS Sluggers 14U wrapped up another exciting day of baseball, playing strong and earning the championship title in the KC Sports Easter 1-Day Tournament!
KC Sports Kansas Shootout
The WS Sluggers 14U team had an enjoyable weekend, securing a victory at the KC Sports Kansas Shootout tournament. Congratulations to all the players on a job well done!
Sophomore Kansas State Champions
The Westside Sluggers put on a clinic this weekend going undefeated in the State Championship with a record of 5-0-1. The team exemplified poise and prowess, edging out the Manhattan Dirt Devils 2-1 in the final to bring home the title. This is the culmination of tremendous work from the players and coaches alike. Congratulations Sluggers!!
14 AAA Orange Team Played in the Omaha USSSA World Series Tournament
The AAA Orange team traveled to Omaha to compete in the USSSA World Series tournament.
World Series record:
- Bracket Play Record: 2-2.
- Pool Play Record: 1-1.
The Orange squad was a thrill to watch this summer. The team always fought hard and played with the grit and determination that earns respect from other teams and that makes games a thrill to watch. Congratulations, Sluggers on a strong season!
The Sluggers Orange squad at the MiLB All-Star game in Omaha, Nebraska on July 15. The sluggers began bracket played the next day at the USSSA World Series.
Omaha is a great baseball city and home of the Omaha Storm Chasers who are part of the Royals farm system and home of the College World Series since 1950. This week also Omaha is hosting the MiLB All-Star game on July 15. The Orange team is in good company to say the least as they represent the Sluggers organization at USSSA's big tournament this week. Let's go Sluggers!

Congratulations to the 9U team for their victory at the World Series tournament on Tuesday, July 14. What a great way to close out the summer season. 9U World Series
Here the Westside Sluggers 9U team wrap it up after they knocked off the State Champs in a 9 to 1 victory on July 13. The 9-year team became the first team in Sluggers history to advanced to the championship game. The 9-year old team went on to win the championship game on July 14. Congratualtions to you from the entire Sluggers organization for your accomplishments at the tournament.
